“WE EXIST TO PROCLAIM THE REIGN OF JESUS CHRIST OVER ALL THINGS; GLORIFYING AND ENJOYING GOD, NOW AND FOREVER!”

" ... the end."

For many people, the study of “end times” is a frivolous journey into speculation and theory that has little or no practical application. When seen in its proper context, however, the study of the end of this world and the return of Jesus Christ is not only practical but absolutely essential to our understanding of the very purpose of life! If this present existence is all there is, your choice of how you live your life has no consequences beyond the present.

But the Bible, God’s revelation of His plan for mankind and this earth, speaks of a coming “END,” and presents two possible outcomes for each of us: eternal life OR eternal death. Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10). Jesus wasn’t just talking about life on this earth; He was talking about “LIFE,” spiritual life in the very presence of God, now and forever! Anything else is spiritual “death.”

Every human being is going to exist forever … the only question is, WHERE? Jesus offers a way, indeed, the ONLY way, for spiritually dead people, who are separated from God and worthy of His judgment, to be reconciled to God and to receive His gift of eternal life. By the transforming power of His Word and Spirit, Jesus offers life to those who by faith confess their sins, repent and acknowledge Him as Savior and as Lord. These now live no longer for themselves, but for Him and for His purposes; to bring His eternal kingdom to earth as God unfolds His plan for mankind and for this planet.

The study of end times is made necessary by the ignorance of men and the deceitfulness of Satan, who wants people to remain ignorant of God’s offer of life through His Son Jesus Christ. By learning what the Bible says about the end we become aware of the need of all people to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ if they are to have any hope of entering God’s eternal kingdom, the new heaven and the new earth.

God speaks of the coming end of this age and of the transition to the new heaven and the new earth throughout His Word, pointing to His coming wrath and judgment upon mankind, and calling those who hear His offer of life to come to Him through the Messiah, the Christ, the Anointed One, the Savior, Jesus, who offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for sin on the cross, who rose again and ascended into heaven, and who will come again to reign on the earth.

God warns of the deception of Satan and false teachers, who will deny the truth, reject the truth and attack the truth revealed in His Word, the Bible. Those who perish will perish “because they refused to love the truth and so be saved” (II Thessalonians 2:10). May it not be said that we failed to sound the alarm, to warn people of the coming judgment and to offer people the life Jesus came to give to all who believe!

12 – The New Heaven and The New Earth!

” … the end.” Most people have the idea that those who believe in Jesus will spend eternity in heaven, in some kind of “spiritual” existence. However, the Bible says that the completion of God’s plan to establish His eternal kingdom includes a new heaven and a new earth … a perfect new world that will never again know pain, evil, suffering…

9 – The Bowls of God’s Wrath and Armageddon!

” … the end.” The events described in John’s “Revelation” are not merely a possibility. These things WILL happen just as God says they will, for His purposes. In the sight of all the nations and peoples of the earth, God will pour out His just wrath upon all who have rejected Him and His Son, Jesus Christ. As “the day of…

5 – The Opening of the Six Seals

“the end.”  “Apocalypse” means “Revelation” = “uncovering something that was previously hidden.” In his “Revelation” the Apostle John is given a vision of the angels in heaven with a scroll with seven seals. The scroll contains God’s truth regarding the events leading up to and surrounding the end of the age and the return of Jesus Christ to earth to establish His…

3 – Daniel’s 70th Week

” … the end.” When it comes to the subject of “end times,” most people immediately think of John’s “Revelation” as the source for information regarding the end of the world. But believing that Revelation is highly symbolic and difficult, if not impossible to understand, many leave the study of these things to others. Few people seem to believe that it is…
