“WE EXIST TO PROCLAIM THE REIGN OF JESUS CHRIST OVER ALL THINGS; GLORIFYING AND ENJOYING GOD, NOW AND FOREVER!”

Going … Make Disciples!

Being a Disciple of Jesus Christ does not stop once you are saved. It is a lifelong journey of growing and maturing in your faith. It would be easy to just relax, and let life happen while you wait upon the Lord to return, or He call you home, but that is not what the Bible says. Christ commands Believers, in Matthew 28:19, to “GO” and make disciples. To make disciples of Jesus Christ does not only mean to share the Gospel message, and gather together those whom the Lord calls, but also means to grow as a disciple of Jesus yourself, and help others to do the same. In Phillipians 2:12, Paul instructs you to ‘work out your own salvation.’ This does NOT mean that your salvation in Christ is based on works, but rather because of your salvation in Christ, obediently work, and grow, the Kingdom of God. That means discipleship, and discipleship is one way you respond to the love that God has shown to you. God desired to restore the relationship with you that was broken in the Garden of Eden when man sinned. That required Christ to go to the cross, and redeem you from your sins. Your devotion to your Faith stems from your love of God for how much He loves you. I John 4:19 reads: “We love because He first loved us.” Christ gave everything for you. As a true Believer, your response is to give your everything to Him.
