“WE EXIST TO PROCLAIM THE REIGN OF JESUS CHRIST OVER ALL THINGS; GLORIFYING AND ENJOYING GOD, NOW AND FOREVER!”

4 – “The Millennium: the 1,000 Year Reign of Christ!”

Seven Years That WILL Change the World!

Knowing the one true God, your Creator, requires two things: His Spirit and His Word. Only when His Spirit makes you a new creation in Christ, giving you a new heart, mind and will, is it then possible to begin to understand who God is and how He thinks, how He acts, and why He does what He does. Though our knowledge and understanding this side of heaven will always by limited by our presence in this world, God has revealed in His Word all you need to know in order to understand His purposes. God says, “I am the LORD, that is my Name; my glory I give to no other, nor my praise to carved idols” (Isaiah 42:8). God then reveals that He will gather a remnant from Israel, “everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made” (Isaiah 43:7). God revealed to Moses that He is “a jealous God,” and we learn through the Bible that God alone is worthy of praise and honor and glory!! It should not be surprising, then, that as God’s plan unfolds it is His desire to display His glory to all the peoples, all the nations of the world.  Those who rejected the Gospel, who scorned His Name and His people, who worshiped other gods, will see that the God of Israel, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, is the one true and only God!! When will that happen?? When Jesus takes His throne in Jerusalem after the battle of Armageddon and reigns over the entire world. Zechariah writes that at that time “the LORD will be King over all the earth!” (Zechariah 14:9). God declares in Psalm 2, verse 6: “I have set MY King on Zion, my holy hill!” That day WILL come, and it may not be far away. We who believe should look forward to Jesus’ return, and to the unfolding of God’s plan to bring justice to the earth, for on THAT day “every knee shall bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father!” (Philippians 2:10-11). “Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!” (Revelation 22:20).
