Fatherhood is such a wonderful, encouraging, and awe-inspiring role given by God, but it can also be difficult, frustrating, and terrifying! Thankfully, God has not left us alone in regards to how we are to do this most important job of fathering our children. In Ephesians 6:4 God gives us simple yet profound instructions as to how we, as fathers, are to go about the business of raising the next generation. In a world filled with parenting books, seminars, and pop- psychology, let’s today study the word of God to find out what He specifically tells us is our role in fatherhood, how we are able to do it, and how those of us that are mothers, sons, and daughters can better encourage the fathers in our lives to be fathers to the glory of God!
