Most people have the idea that those who believe in Jesus will spend eternity in heaven, in some kind of “spiritual” existence. However, the Bible says that the completion of God’s plan to establish His eternal kingdom includes a new heaven and a new earth … a perfect new world that will never again know pain, evil, suffering or death. Our God, the Creator of the present heaven and earth, will literally dwell with us in all His glory in His new creation! With new bodies, we will live in this new world FOREVER, time without end. There will be perfect joy beyond our ability to imagine, and love will be our natural response to God and to one another. How do you get there? Jesus says, “I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). By faith in Jesus you can experience the new life of His Spirit and live even now to serve the coming King. “The Spirit and the Bride say, ‘Come!’ … He who testifies to these things says, ‘Surely, I am coming soon.’ Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!! The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen!” (Revelation 22:17, 20-21).
