The Kingdom of God!

A quick quiz: How many eternal kingdoms are there or will there be? ONE! How many ways are there to enter God’s eternal kingdom? ONE! How many kings are there in God’s kingdom? ONE!! So, who do you say Jesus is??? Many people today fail to understand the privilege of being a believer, a disciple of Jesus Christ, a member of the Body of Christ the one true Church, the “called-out ones.” How about you?? Does it matter to you that Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah, the Anointed One, the fulfillment of the prophecies of the Old Testament, the King, the one Mediator between God and man, the Savior who took upon Himself flesh in order to offer Himself as the perfect sacrifice for sin … does it matter to you that the Jesus you claim to believe in is now seated at the right hand of the Father, ruling over all things for the Church, His Body, and that He is coming again to reign on the earth for a thousand years and then to do away with evil and establish God’s kingdom in a new heaven and a new earth?? Do you believe these things? Does it make a difference in the way you think and live? Does it matter????? Jesus said to His disciples, in our text last week, “To you, it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven,” and, “Blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear” (Matthew 13:11,16). Jesus Christ is building His Church today and will continue until He returns in His glory, with all the angels with Him. Can you SEE? Can you hear?? Have your eyes and ears been opened by the very Spirit of God? If so, then rejoice and serve the King!! If not, today may be the day!
