THIS Is Eternal Life!
Thanking God is an everyday way of life for those who have received His grace in Jesus Christ! Of all the people on the face of the earth, we who have been born again by His Spirit and who have confessed Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord are compelled to give thanks to the One from whom every good and perfect gift comes. He has given us physical life and spiritual life, enabling us to trust in Him and empowering us to live for Him. Now, because of the grace He has shown to us, we are sent to carry His grace to others through what some call “random acts of kindness” … but what God calls “acts of grace.” Anyone can do random acts of kindness, but only those who know Jesus Christ can and will do “acts of grace” that lead to others giving praise and glory to God. What makes the difference? “Acts of grace” are accompanied by a testimony that points back to what God has done for us in giving His Son to be our Savior. The goal of “acts of grace” is not praise for us, but rather, praise for God!! God’s grace begins a circle that comes to us, goes to others and returns to God, from whom it all began. He alone is worthy of praise and thanksgiving!! May our lives be filled with “acts of grace” that display the love and grace of God, accompanied with our testimony that all the praise and all the glory and all the thanks goes to God, from whom all blessings flow!!!
