‘From Eden … to the Cross!’

Skipping Genesis 1, or refusing to believe what it says, is like skipping the first chapter in a book … you will never understand the rest of the story because you don’t know what happened at the beginning. This is why the majority of people who have ever lived, and the majority of people who are alive today, have no sense of their identity! They truly do not know where they came from, why they are here, or where they are going. That is the definition of LOST!! Yet we who by God’s grace know Him as our Creator, and who know the way to come to Him through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ, have the very Spirit of God as our Teacher, our Counselor, our Guide.  To know God as your Creator means that you know yourself as a special creation, made in His image for a unique purpose, out of all that He created: to know Him, to love Him and to serve Him. Through the wisdom and power of Jesus Christ, who now lives within you by His Spirit, you are able to understand the meaning of life in this world and to look forward to the future knowing what God, your Creator, has promised to those who know Him and love Him. You are now ready and willing to live your life for God, your Creator, knowing that there is no greater purpose for life in this world that God has created for His glory. Starting in Genesis 1 lays the foundation for all the knowledge you will ever gain as long as you live here. You were created by God, to be like God, and to live for God!  Here is where true “life” begins!!
