What is one of the greatest gifts to a believer? That the God of the universe wants you to know Him. Not just to know that God exists, which is a blessing in itself, but to actually know Him deeply – THE God – the Creator and Sustainer of all life. To know, and understand the sovereignty, power, and wisdom of God and to see Him guiding and directing our lives, by means of this, gives us insight into who He is, and a taste of His perfect character. Even on our worst days, we can trust God with our circumstances to accomplish His will and purpose, through us, knowing that His knowledge of all things, His power through all things, and His reign over all things is sufficient for us. And through it all, from the cradle to the grave, God chooses to bless us. God is under no obligation to do so, but in ways, we can see and testify about His greatness and faithfulness, along with those blessings we will never know about on this side of heaven God’s hand of providence is constantly upon us. Yet, even this, is for his glory as He makes Himself known to us – the Great God – the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Job – and you!
