To God Be Glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus

Jesus promised, “I will build MY Church!” Either you are part of Christ’s Body, the Church, the “ekklesia,” the “called out ones,” OR you are at this moment living without God and without hope in the world, separated from Christ and having no purpose for your life. We continue to live in what the Bible calls, “the day of salvation,” the period of time between the first coming of Jesus and His return. As the Head of His Church, Christ is gathering for Himself a people who will testify, who will be His witnesses, who will live no longer for themselves but for the God who saved them and called them to be His own. Are YOU one of these? Do you know who you are in Christ? Do you believe in Him? Do you know that you have been chosen, loved, predestined, adopted, redeemed, forgiven and sealed by the Holy Spirit … that you are HIS?? Only then will you embrace the glorious purpose of the life God has given you: to live for the praise of HIS glory!! So often we live as though God has done nothing for us, but if you know Him and if you have come to Him through faith in Jesus Christ then He has already blessed you “in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 1:3). You already have all you need in Christ and now your life is lived for one purpose: to bring HIM glory! May God speak to you who are “in Christ” to encourage and strengthen you as you live to glorify Him, and may He speak to anyone who has not yet trusted in Christ and draw each one to see the emptiness and futility of life without Him. May God accomplish His purpose through His Word today.
