THIS is Eternal Life!

“Faith” is only as good as its object.  It has been said, “If your problems seem too big, your God is too small!”  People everywhere deal with anxiety and worry and fear that often lead to an overwhelming sense of hopelessness, which in turn leads to all sorts of destructive behaviors.  That’s the “psychology” of what is commonplace in the lives of many, if not most people … but there’s a cure for all of this:  Knowing and trusting the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob!!  The record of God’s dealing with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, revealing Himself through His Covenant of Grace as the one, true God who is faithful in keeping all of His promises … this written record is God’s testimony to those who are His covenant people.  In this world we live by faith, not by sight, because we KNOW the God who moves mountains!  We KNOW God as “‘Abba,’ Father,” through faith in Jesus Christ!  All who believe learn to rest in the providence of God, whereby He holds all things in His hands and guides all things for our good and His glory.  Knowing THIS God, the only true God, and drawing near to Him through His Son Jesus Christ brings hope and peace and joy to all who rest in His unfailing promises.  “Great is the LORD our God, and worthy to be praised!”
