THIS is Eternal Life!

This world and this life is not all there is.  People who live as though it is MISS life because their minds are constantly on themselves and the things of this world rather than on God and His kingdom and what is to come.  LIFE is found in knowing, loving and serving our Creator and those who by His grace know Him as “‘Abba,’ Father,” living by faith in Jesus Christ, understand the meaning of life now and have the assurance of eternal life in His presence in the future.  All of this is very REAL and moves God’s people to worship Him as we live each day with Him and for Him.  Worship is an act of a heart moved to love God because He first loved you!  Worship is a constant state of mind set on pleasing the One who called you to be His and who saved you by sending His Son to bear the penalty of His wrath against your sin.  We don’t worship God in order to BE saved … we worship Him because by His grace we ARE saved!!  We have LIFE … NOW!  And we know that we will live forever with Him as He comes to dwell among us!!  All of this, and more, is revealed in the pictures God gives us as He delivers His people from slavery in Egypt and comes to dwell among them in the Tabernacle.  These are pictures of a present and future reality for all who know and love the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob … the God of Israel!!
