This Is Eternal Life!
Because we hear so many things today that are not true, it is easy to become skeptical of anything and everything we are told. Yet, in God’s Word we have facts, truth that has been passed down to us, that becomes for us the foundation for life itself. All of what the Bible teaches centers around Jesus Christ, so if what we learn about Jesus in God’s Word is not true we have nothing on which to stand firm! Here are some of the facts: Jesus was crucified, He died and was buried, He rose from the dead and He ascended into heaven. And because all of this is true, we can be sure that He is coming again!! What does all of that mean for you today? It means that hopelessness and despair are overcome through faith in Jesus Christ! It means that our Father in heaven keeps His promises and that all who trust in His Son, Jesus, the Christ, for forgiveness and life, will one day live in His very presence … forever!!! Until then, we are called and sent to be witnesses, pointing others to Jesus through the truth of His Word. Are you SURE of these things? Do you KNOW Jesus as your Savior and do you confess Him as your Lord, living to please Him in all that you do? Jesus said the truth would set us free from the bondage of sin that distracts us and weighs us down. Let’s proclaim together that there is VICTORY IN JESUS!!!
