‘From Eden … to the Cross!’

Your life can never be the same once you come to know that you have been chosen by God, redeemed by Christ and born again by His Spirit. While people around you search for their “identity,” you know who you are: a born again child of God, in whom the Spirit is at work. As people you know find no purpose for their lives, you know you are here to serve God, to make Him known through your words and your actions, and to live with hope and peace and joy, looking not at the things of the world, but at the things of His kingdom. Eternal life is yours and fear is replaced with confidence and boldness, not in yourself, but in the God who is actively at work in you and through you for His glory! The true joy of life is in confessing Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and living with meaning and purpose every single day. But how do you come to know these things, to be sure of these truths?  The answer is found in understanding God’s sovereign choice. Because all mankind exists in the same condition of spiritual death, only by the sovereign power of God can anyone be made alive, and it is God who determines to whom He will give life, for His purposes. Noah found favor, grace, in the eyes of the Lord.  Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were chosen by the sovereign choice of God so that the Savior would come from their descendants. And as there was a remnant chosen from the people of Israel, God also chooses a remnant from every people, tribe, nation and tongue to be His chosen people, the true Church, known and loved by God.  Are YOU one of these? You CAN know!!!
