To God Be Glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus

“God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life!” So millions have been told. But what “god” is this and what “plan” does this supposed “god” have for their lives?? Without the knowledge of the one true God, our Creator, or of the way of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God in flesh, who suffered and died on the cross for all who believe in Him … without the knowledge of THIS God there is only spiritual blindness and death. BUT, for those in whom the Spirit of God is at work, who are “new creations” in Christ Jesus, there IS a wonderful plan that our Father in heaven is working to accomplish: to restore us to His image!!! The temptation we all face is to give our attention to the things of this world and to miss the most important part of life: Spiritual LIFE in Christ! You are not only a physical being … you are a spiritual being created in the image of God. Sin brings spiritual death, but the Spirit of God brings life to those whom He chooses, and you can know you are one of these when by faith your new heart and mind confess Jesus Christ as your Savior and your Lord. Now things change because your heart and mind are set on things above, where Jesus is, seated at the right hand of the Father. You know now that God is at work IN you to produce “good fruit” in your life that brings glory and praise to Him! When doubts and fears arise and questions about why things happen as they do come to mind, remember, your Father is at work to restore His image in you and He will never leave you … you are HIS! He will complete what He has begun!!
