The Kingdom of God!

People who are being deceived don’t know they are being deceived. The truth of that brief statement seems obvious, but to those without the Spirit of God nothing about God or His kingdom or His salvation or His covenant is obvious! Knowing the truth about God, about yourself, about life in this world and life after death is found only in the Bible, the very Word of God, produced by the very Spirit of God through those called by God to write down for us what HE wants us to know. Only by starting with truth will you arrive at faith in Jesus Christ! Only by the work of God’s Spirit will you come to the end of yourself, to the end of your vain attempts to discover the path to happiness, to life lived with joy, peace and hope, and instead place your hope in Jesus and live by the power of His Spirit. This is what the “new covenant” is all about! Most who consider themselves to be “Christians” today fail to see the need for understanding anything further than, “I believe in Jesus.” Well, the Galatians believed in Jesus, but because they didn’t understand these things they were living as though they were still under the law, still needing to earn God’s favor. The Corinthians and Romans, too, needed to understand what true freedom in Christ really looked like, and so do we! GRACE is at stake … JOY in serving Christ is at stake … PEACE is at stake … because knowing God is at work in you brings true spiritual freedom – the freedom to know God, to love Him and to serve Him, now and forever!!
