The Kingdom of God!

Jerusalem IS the capital of Israel, not because President Trump or anyone else recognizes it as such, but because GOD declares it to be so! Jesus predicted that God’s judgment would come upon the Jews and Jerusalem in Luke 21:23-24: “There will be great distress upon the earth and wrath against this people. They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive among all nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles UNTIL the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.” Jesus was speaking here about the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. The prophecy was fulfilled and the Jews were scattered throughout the nations. Now the rest of the prophecies of God’s Word concerning Jerusalem must be fulfilled. Are we at the moment in history when the “times of the Gentiles” are nearing an end and God will deal once again with the Jews as a people, as HIS people? Never before have the events going on around us and specifically in Jerusalem pointed toward the soon return of Jesus and the unfolding of God’s plan prior to His coming! Where do you find your hope, joy, and peace amidst this reality? In the celebration of the birth of the One who is NOW our King, Jesus Christ!! HIS kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, a kingdom that has no end! If you know Him as your King and your Savior today, “Rejoice, the Lord is King!!”
